Week 5 Discussion Board
A popular blog that I read is that of Jared Dines. He is a musician and post regularly on his YouTube channel. I guess it is more of a Vlog, but he does gear rundowns, comedy, collaborations with other YouTubers and more. He is a very talented musician that has many great ideas on music and the industry in general. Jared can play guitar, bass, drums, and is a very talented singer. The reason I mentioned that is because he will often showcase his talents by doing product displays or videos of him at his band practice. I guess I answered the reason as to why I read it, but if the reason was not clear it is because he offers a whole new spin on music and his ideas are rather interesting to take in. The aspect that makes me keep coming back for more each and every week, is that he always has something new or does a skit like "10 Crazy Metal Facts" which is some of the most bizarre things about metal music that no one has every heard about. Basically, it keeps me on my toes as to what I am going to be expecting to watch for the week.

Week 4 Discussion Board
Attached is the link to the first part of the discussion board. For the next part, companies should use their social media presence for marking purposes by keeping all of their followers informed as to what kind of sales promotions they have going on, as well as new products coming to market in the near future.
Also, another good way for companies to use social media is to give credit to any sponsors that they might have. It not only shows their customers that they are given credit where it is due, but at the same time, the endorsement companies see those posts and feel appreciated that the companies they represent really do care.
Aside from those aspects listed above, companies can use social media to announce giveaways of certain items. This is also a great way to get customers and their friends to visit the company with the hopes of becoming a future customer. Social media has its ups and downs, but for the most part, it is clear that social media is made for the greater good. It is a great tool to help promote, sell, and finance certain aspects of a business should they need it.
